After more than two years of Corona break, the student café the "Trichter" invites you again to its legendary summer party. On August 17 from 5 to 10 p.m., the inner courtyard of Findelgasse 7/9 at FAU WiSo will once again be filled with life.

All students must re-register twice a year for the next semester in order to continue studying at FAU. This is done by transferring the semester fee. It is essential that the money is transferred to the university within the re-registration deadlines, otherwise there is a risk of exmatriculation. For the upcoming winter semester, all students must re-register from July 1 to July 8, 2022 and transfer the semester fee for this purpose.

On July 16, 2022, the Student Summer Party, hosted by the initiatives at the School of Business, Economics & Society (WiSo), will take place in the WiSo courtyard, Lange Gasse 20. Guests can look forward to delicious food and drinks as well as good music. There will also be all kinds of activities at the initiatives' booths.

Until Monday, July 4 2022, 9 a.m., university elections will be held at FAU. Representatives will be elected to the Senate, the five Faculty Councils, the Appeals Council for the Department of Theology, and the Student Convention of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. They form the basis of academic self-government.

If you want to apply for a study abroad program at WiSo, you need to have the appropriate language certificates. On Thursday, June 23, there will be an information event at 2:00 p.m. in the Team-Bank lecture hall (H5) at Lange Gasse 20 in Nuremberg. At the same time, those interested can also take part online via Zoom.

The Long Night of Sciences is one of the largest scientific communication events in the Nuremberg metropolitan region and the largest Long Night of its kind in Germany. More than 30,000 people will visit the various scientific institutions in the region, starting with the children’s programme in the afternoon and continuing with the programme aimed at adults from 6pm, with tours through the laboratories and institutes giving the general public the opportunity to discover what researchers at FAU, WiSo Nuremberg, Max Planck & co are currently working on.

It is not just FAU’s extraordinary national and international reputation, or its strength in generating innovation that make the university stand out from the crowd. In addition, it is among the Top 10 universities that bring forth successful executives in Germany. This is the conclusion of a study recently conducted by the consultancy firm Horváth after examining the educational paths of 500 German business managers who are members of the board of management at a DAX, MDAX or SDAX listed enterprise.
