Please do not forget: For the coming winter semester, all students must re-register from July 1 to July 8, 2023 and transfer the reduced semester fee of €67 (Studierendenwerk contribution) for this purpose. There is a corresponding transfer form on Campo.

Students of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Society can register for the exams in the summer semester 2023 from May 29 (00:01) until June 18 (23:59). Students must register for examinations via campo. The registration function is only activated during a registration period.

Prof. Dr. Markus Beckmann, Chair of Corporate Sustainability Management at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) WiSo, recently played a key role in a series of sustainability-focused events in Vietnam. His contributions included acting as the keynote speaker at a two-day workshop in Hanoi, a networking event in Da Nang, and providing his expertise as a conceptual advisor at a workshop in Ho Chi Minh City.

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research has launched the Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL) to develop solutions to help people and wildlife in southern Africa affected by climate change. Thirteen new projects have now been launched in Windhoek, Namibia. The FAU and Prof. Dr. Kathrin M. Möslein, Chair of Information Systems, in particular Innovation and Value Creation at FAU WiSo, were represented at the conference by Sascha Julian Oks, who introduced the Virtual Regional Pole of Engineering (VRPE) project together with the project leader Prof. Dr. Emidio Silva.

Given the number of partnerships the School of Business, Economics and Society (WiSo) has around the world, there are many attractive places left unfilled each year after the selection process closes in winter. These are advertised for the academic year 23/24, and the modalities of selection remain the same.

Batch 4 of the executive teaching program Leading Digital Transformation (LDT), jointly organized by FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, the Indian Institute of Management (IIMB), and the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, has recently concluded its second module in Nuremberg, also at the School of Business, Economics and Society (FAU WiSo). In addition to fascinating sessions and exciting visits to some of the most innovative places in the city, the program also included a visit of the Consul General Mohit Yadav (Consul General of the Republic of India in Munich).

All students must re-register twice a year for the next semester in order to continue studying at FAU. This is done by transferring the semester fee. It is essential that the money is transferred to the university within the re-registration deadlines, otherwise there is a risk of exmatriculation. Together with the School of Business, Economics and Society of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU WiSo), the PACT4Ukraine project in close collaboration with Ukrainian universities announces a series of webinars titled “Ukraine's economy during the war”. The webinars will be held in English via Zoom.

If a bachelor’s degree has already been attained, a master’s program at FAU’s WiSo is the perfect choice to further expand one’s expertise. The master’s programs deepen the scientific content that students have already dealt with in their bachelor’s studies. Information events on the master’s degree programs are now being held again at the beginning of 2023. The responsible program coordinators will provide information about the content, focus and admission procedure.
