Curriculum vitae
Peter M. Bican studied law at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). After the legal preparatory service and an MBA in Business Integration at the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg, Germany, and the Boston University, Questrom School of Business, USA, he joined Deloitte in Luxembourg und PwC in Frankfurt, Germany.
After his education as Lawyer, MBA, and Certified Accountant (FCCA), he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Technology- and Innovation Management at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, Germany, where he also obtained his PhD. Since April 1st 2021, Prof. Bican is chair representative of the Chair of Technology Management at the FAU.
The core of his research activities is centered on the sustainable management of Research and Development (R&D) in technology-oriented companies with focus on strategic management of intellectual property, entrepreneurship and sustainable technology management.
