The first day of the virtual summer term already lies behind us. Hopefully, you have all started off well into the new semester, you have visited your first virtual lectures and tried out some of the digital tools.

Maybe there have been some minor problems, such as gaining access to StudOn. However, FAU has already taken measures to reduce these difficulties, such as enhancing server capacities. In case you would like to learn more about these measures and the start of the semester in general, you are welcome to watch the Presidential Podcast by Prof. Joachim Hornegger, FAU’s president.

In case there are minor problems during lectures, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your lecturer. All lecturers will appreciate your helpful feedback since they are interested in the continuing improvement of their teaching offers.

Unfortunately, we have to do without on-site lectures, having lunch together or our joint coffee break. To some extent, this does not only lead to loss of social contact, but also to a lack of familiar daily routines. In order to support you in creating your own virtual studying routine, we have collected advice on time management learning strategies here: https://www.wiso-virtuell.fau.de/virtuell-blog/
