The integrated model comprises a dual university program that is closely coordinated in terms of both structure and content, with its key focus areas defined in a joint cooperation agreement.
The parallel pursuit of academic studies and practical training places considerable demands on the performance and motivation of prospective dual students, requiring a high degree of commitment and perseverance. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and a vocational qualification certificate, participants typically also receive a joint certificate from both institutions confirming successful completion of the integrated study program. This combined qualification opens up career opportunities in independent professional practice as well as in academia.
