New honorary professor at the School of Business and Economics

Dr. Stefan Asenkerschbaumer, the deputy chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH, has been appointed an honorary professor at the School of Business and Economics and at FAU on February 7, 2017. After a commercial apprenticeship, Professor Asenkerschbaumer was awarded a degree in business education at FAU in 1982, and a further degree in business administration in 1984. These degrees were followed by a PhD on the subject of innovation management in companies.

For many years now, Professor Asenkerschbaumer has been a successful associate professor at the Department of Industrial Management.

He bears responsibility for finance and financial statements, planning and controlling, internal accounting and organization, as well as inhouse consulting. He also has corporate responsibility for information systems and services as well as purchasing and logistics.

The School of Business and Economics congratulates Professor Asenkerschbaumer on his appointment and is pleased to welcome him among his fellow honorary professors.
