Research at the Institute of Economic Research

The professors and young researchers at the Institute of Economic Research (IWF) have apply theory-based empirical research in areas such as labor markets, taxes, health and energy. They also have a strong focus on applied research for political consulting, such as in BMBF and BMWi projects. They apply a range of different methods, including microdata, field experiments, laboratory experiments, causal effects and an institutional perspective.
