Institute of Labor Market and Socioeconomics (IAS)

The Institute of Labor Market and Socioeconomics

The Institute of Labor Market and Socioeconomics (IAS) brings together the School’s knowledge and expertise in teaching and research in the areas of labor and the labor market, work, human resources and organization, and the economy and society.

The Institute’s chairs represent disciplines of both economics and the social sciences. A characteristic that they share is the way in which they connect theoretical and empirical research on the labor market, the use of employees in organizations, and the fundamental links between society and the economy in modern societies.
