Strategy
The strategic orientation of the School of Business, Economics and Society is based on four areas of action: People, Education, Research, and Outreach, which also reflect FAU’s key priorities. They illustrate that the school’s development is driven by people, that excellence in studies, teaching, and research is central, and that knowledge has an impact through diverse forms of exchange in society, business, and politics.
These priorities are complemented by strategic cross-cutting themes such as sustainability, internationalization, and communication, which permeate and further develop all areas. Together, the fields of action and cross-cutting themes form the framework for a future-oriented strategy that strengthens the school, increases its international visibility, and makes an active contribution to societal challenges.
