Field of action Outreach

The field of action Outreach at FAU aims to strengthen awareness, responsibility, and impact for the benefit of science, society, politics, and business. Individuals and organizational units contribute to this by making knowledge visible, taking responsibility, and acting in a variety of roles. Strategically, FAU bundles its activities into five paths: alumni, continuing education and lifelong learning, cooperation and co-creation, patents and licenses, and start-ups.

FAU WiSo sees outreach as central to its role in the innovation ecosystem of the metropolitan region. It creates dialogue formats such as #NUElectures and #NUEdialog, strengthens its alumni and support network, and offers a wide range of continuing education opportunities. Cooperation with partners such as JOSEPHS and ZOLLHOF promotes co-creation, start-up culture, and entrepreneurial thinking. In addition, FAU WiSo is involved in policy advice and science communication, thereby helping to strengthen knowledge transfer and social impact beyond the university.
