From the early foundations of GfK and DATEV to young, dynamic start-ups, there is a lively entrepreneurial spirit that extends far beyond the campus. At the same time, FAU WiSo is part of a university that is one of Europe’s leading centers of innovation and continuously provides impetus for business, society, and science.

In addition to promoting start-up ideas and supporting the development of new technologies, the school consistently advocates the principle of lifelong learning. Through a diverse range of seminars and part-time degree programs, knowledge is updated, deepened, and expanded in all phases of life. In this way, FAU WiSo combines research, teaching, and practice to create an innovative environment that generates new ideas, supports sustainable development, and empowers people to operate successfully even in a constantly changing world.
