Field of action People

FAU’s field of action People focuses on attracting, promoting, and retaining talent in academia, science, and administration. The aim is to create reliable development paths that accompany individual careers throughout their lives – from initial study experiences to scientific careers and collaborations with partner institutions. With Change Track, Tenure Track, and Joint Track, FAU offers structures that ensure personal development, flexibility, and networking.

At FAU WiSo, People means putting the people in the school at the center – researchers, teachers, students, and staff. Talent is specifically promoted, and diversity and work-life balance are taken into account. Exchange and participation formats such as strategy meetings or town hall meetings strengthen the community, while a culture of participation and personal responsibility creates space for creativity and further development.
