Re-registration for the winter semester 2025/26
Remember to transfer your semester fee
All students must re-register twice a year for the next semester in order to continue studying at FAU. This is done by transferring the semester fee. It is essential to transfer the money to the university within the re-registration deadlines, otherwise you will be threatened with exmatriculation.
For the upcoming summer semester, all students must re-register from July 1 to July 8, 2025 and transfer the semester fee of €72 (Studierendenwerk contribution).
There is a bank transfer form for this purpose on campo under „Studienservice“ („Bescheinigungen“). The bank account details are also available here: www.fau.eu/education/study-organisation/re-registration.
Due to the introduction of the “Deutschlandticket” or the “Bildungsticket” for students and trainees (29 euros per month), the semester ticket will no longer exist as of winter semester 2023/24.
If you complete your studies at the end of the summer semester or do not wish to continue, re-registration is not necessary.
