On Friday, November 21, 2025, the School of Business, Economics, and Society (FAU WiSo) hosted its festive graduation ceremony. Around 100 graduates from the school’s English-taught bachelor’s and master’s programs celebrated this special milestone together with their families and friends.
Professor Dr. Dirk Holtbrügge, the event’s patron, warmly welcomed the graduates and guided guests through the ceremony. Professor Dr. Christian Merkl, a board member of the Alumni & Friends WiSo Nürnberg association, offered his congratulations in a greeting address. The keynote speech was delivered by FAU WiSo alumna Vivien-Lisa Bermel, Project Manager for Service Management at Siemens Mobility.
A central highlight of the celebration was the formal presentation of the graduation certificates. Equally memorable was the graduate speech, this year given by Jason Muyumba. Musical accompaniment was provided by the talented “Duo der Musikhochschule”, creating a fitting atmosphere for the occasion. The traditional cap toss and a reception in the FAU WiSo foyer brought the evening to a joyful close.
